Mongeese first joined Debate.org when the site was suggested to him by his friend wjmelements in April of 2009. Mongeese was immediately active, having done about 29 debates in his first month of participation. He based his name off of mongoose's, which mongoose believed was lame.

Mongeese was a conservative when he first joined, although he evolved into a conservative-liberitarian.
[edit] Mongeese's Ideal Government
Mongeese's Ideal Government is a minarchy whose only function is to protect the four essential human rights: the right to life, the right to liberty, the right to privacy, and the right to property / pursuit of happiness.
The right to life is self-explanatory. All humans have this right, including fetuses. Animals do not have this right, and are instead regarded as property.
The right to liberty is the right to have choice without burden, provided it does not violate anyone's right to life or right to privacy. The right to privacy is the right not to have one's private life and property open to the public.
The right to property / pursuit of happiness is the right for one to do what one wants with one's property, provided it does not violate the above rights. This includes moderate intellectual property laws.
This government would have no laws against any action that does not violate any of the above rights, and minimal preemptive actions would be taken by this government to "anticipate" a violation of the above rights.
This government would have a military composed entirely of voluntary domestic soldiers. Mongeese is still undecided about how currency would be determined, and whether or not government would have any say in currency.
This government would also be completely voluntary. People who do not wish to pay the "taxes" associated with this government could simply choose to live in anarchy, or under a different government, although there is no government that is better than Mongeese's Ideal Government.
To make laws, two representatives are elected from each state to determine what qualifies as a right to life, liberty, privacy, or property / pursuit of happiness. Policemen are paid for by taxes to enforce the law.

Mongeese is currently the 11th top debater, with roughly 85 wins, 96, losses, and 4 ties.
[edit] Vote-Bombing
Mongeese may have been vote-bombed numerous times.
Around August 2009, mongeese may have been vote-bombed from about 64-41 to 54-52[9]. His win record then constantly changed from 40% to 60% over time, reaching 39-3-83 at its lowest point. He was un-bombed by September. The culprits are currently unknown.
In November, after mongeese ended up getting theLwerd banned, he may have been vote-bombed again in retalliation. With the addition of the Votes tabs, the culprits could possibly be JBlake, comoncents, and/or SaintNick, among others. JBlake and comoncents have recently unvoted on the debates where their voting reasons were not publicly announced.
With the Votes tab, it has been revealed that theLwerd and Vi_Veri (along with the temporary account Lwerd that was used by theLwerd after her initial banning (due to mongeese's reporting her) have been voting against mongeese and mongoose quite badly since November, even after the controversy had ended. While it is currently unknown for their reasons for voting against these brothers in nearly every debate and in every category, an inquiry is being made by the DDO-Community.

to be believed) and unexplained reasoning.
